Cheryl & Jo
Cheryl co-founded Surrey Early Years HR after 30 years working in management roles in early years and HR. During this time Cheryl gained an MA in Child Centred Interprofessional Practice and is also an Associate CIPD member. She is passionate about maximising individual skills sets and capabilities through ongoing professional development.
She is an accomplished leader, team manager and particularly enjoys resolving complex employee relations issues and working closely with line managers and business owners to achieve the best from their teams.
Cheryl has an Enhanced DBS check and is signed up to the DBS update service.
Cheryl spends her spare time trekking around the Surrey Hills and singing her favourite show tunes and all that jazz!
Jo’s HR knowledge and experience has been amassed over twenty years in regional HR and training roles in retail and service organisations which led to her achieving Chartered Fellowship FCIPD membership. Jo’s strength is in exploring and developing HR solutions which make real sense. Her easy going down to earth approach will give you renewed confidence in implementing new work ideas and strategies.
Jo has worked in the early years sector for the past 7 years in both a setting and as a Recruitment and Retention Advisor for the Surrey Early Years and Childcare Service assisting individuals and teams to achieve their potential.
Jo has an Enhanced DBS check and is signed up to the DBS update service.
Outside of work you are likely to find Jo rooting around her allotment with the misguided belief that the veggies like her dulcet tones.
